Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Information Session

Have you heard of 3MT? An international speaking competition, Mizzou hosts a campus level event each fall. 3MT is a great way to practice conveying your research in a succinct manner to a public audience. The Mizzou 3MT competition awards a first place winner, second-place winner, and people's choice winner, and each winner receives professional development funds.

Attend this info session to learn more about the competition. In addition, a handout will be provided and there will be plenty of time for Q&A. A note that Mizzou 3MT is open to students who will be considered doctoral candidates in a research-based degree program by early-mid fall 2019. Those who successfully defend during the fall semester may still participate in 3MT, as Mizzou graduate degrees are not conferred until December commencement. Those who have graduated are not eligible.
